Welcome.  Karen E. Marty founded this firm when she entered private practice in 1997, after working in-house as a city attorney for 15 years.  Based on that strong municipal background, she has built a practice focused on Land Use Law, Municipal Law, and Real Estate Law.  She is one of only a half dozen Minnesota attorneys in private practice with over 25 years' experience in land use and municipal law.  With that expertise, she is able to provide practical advice for handling matters outside the courtroom, as well as representing clients in General Practice Matters, Litigation and Appeals.
